Archeologen hebben bewijs gevonden dat de #Koegorspolder tussen Terneuzen en Axel in #Zeeland al voor de 14e eeuw werd bewoond. Ze vonden sporen van #middeleeuwse boerderijen onder overstromingslagen uit de 14e en ook 13e eeuw. Een bijzondere vondst is de #pommel (knop op gevest) van een middeleeuws zwaard. #Roll d1000 on the #sword #pommel #table! You get: the man with the pointy beard wearing a circlet and a squint, +1 damage vs. antiquarians.

This impressive collection of sword pommels was amassed by Carl von Schwerzenbach (1850-1926), a private collector, scholar and sword pommel #nerd. The pommels date from 1400-1900 and the collection can now be found in the town museum in #Bregenz, #Austria.
