This is kinda like the situation that happened with the #PolyMC #minecraft launcher a few years back but with the political sides swapped. and of course, the "centrist" "just focus on the engine" types likely had nothing to say about the polyMC situation.

Microsoft might have taken action on PolyMC?

Or one of the people that was ousted by the fashy/transphobic/queerphobic/anti-left person who hijacked PolyMC still had the Microsoft account associated with the consent issuing or identification process used by the launcher?

(I'm very much not a Microsoft services person, so this speculation is likely bollocks, but I'd be interested to know if that's how third party Microsoft login permissions work.)

Either way, my accounts have been logged out and, checking there are no auth tokens active on either per https://account.live.com/consent.

It can't have just timed out, as I last used it with online auth last night - was playing MC when the furore went down.
