A reupholstered Kartell pouffe

These two chairs, which were produced between 1891 and 1945, bear the inscription D.R.G.M. (Deutsches Reich - Gebrauchsmuster), which means that the model is protected.
The chairs were sanded in our workshop. The wood was treated and the frames were glued. The seat and backrest were reupholstered with a fabric designed by Raf Simons and the trimmings were custom-made for this project by Jende Manufaktur. The complete makeover! We think it turned out well.
