Ok, I'm up to reading the last source of my annotated bibliography (though I may incorporate more sources into my final essay in the future). After distilling it, and then summarizing it, though, I will still have to actually compile the annotated bibliography. Which, despite being a comparatively small task, is even more of a pain in the posterior because I'm fairly tired. #freespeech #poliphil #philosophy #ethics #politicalphilosophy
I only have an inkling of an idea so far regarding the thesis for my paper. Something along the lines of: "Insofar as intellectual or communicative values underlie any basis for free speech, and these are themselves subject to disagreement, the protection of freedom to associate/dissociate runs deeper and more fundamental as a question for the polity." #paper #freespeech #freeassociation #liberalism #poliphil #philosophy #thesis
