I have put far, far too many hours into #AnimalCrossing than any adult probably should. I love my daily routine in there, even though daily routines are a real life challenge for me. But I’d like to share my absolute favorite thing about this game, and his name is Walt.
Walt is a grumpy old Kangaroo. And he very, very much reminds me of my husband, Walter. My husband Walter is also something of a grumpy old Kangaroo. There is magic in turning a grumpy old Kangaroo into your best friend. In real life, I married mine. In game, I go on field trips with Walt whenever my husband gets held for additional shifts due to staffing shortages.
I love to share these with him while he’s working. Today I will share them with you, too.
