• #Methanol - #Brennstoffzelle löst das #Speicherproblem (weil Methanol kann immer schneller gepumpt werden als das Energie-Equivalent geladen!).

• Warte mal bis die ganzen #Akkus schrott sind und wie teuer dann der Austausch wird... Von der Problematik des nicht-vorhandenen Recyclings und #Feuergefahr (abseits von #LiFePO4 und #Natrium-Nasszellen).

• Die Versicherungs-Einstufungen auf Basis von Modellen sind IMHO absurd intransparent (schlimmer als #Schufa weil letztere kann Mensch beeinflussen) und gehören [beide] transparent gemacht.

• Die Problematik der Fertigungsqualität sind ärgerlich. Ich rechne damit das mehr #PLV|s mit Kunststoffkarosserie gebaut werden müssen, um Gewicht und Kosten weiter zu reduzieren.

Am Ende ersetzen #Brennstoffzellen mindestens #Diesel bei #Notstrom-Generatoren!

@modular hinzu kommt dass jene #Elektroauto-#Förderung ausschließlich für Fahrzeuge der EG-Fahrzeugklasse M1 (aka. "#Auto") angeboten wird und als #Subvention damit #PLV|s, #ÖPNV / #ÖPFV und #Fahrräder sabotiert.

• Die #Hersteller dagen verkaufen immer teurere & fettere #SuerUselessVehicles statt #PersonalLightVehicles und selbst wenn Leute mangels #Bus, #Bahn (und Fähigkeit zum #Radfahren) das ökologisch sinnvollste tun wollen und nen #Kleinfahrzeug / #Leichtfahrzeug statt Auto kaufen wollen wird dies sabotiert.

Aber was erwarten anderes als #EliteProhection & #CarBrain-#Klientelpolitik wir von einer @Bundesregierung die von einem (Ex?) #Bankster samt #Internetausdrucker-Partei angeführt wird (welcher um bloß nicht mit #Lohnarbeiter*innen im delben Verkehrsmittel zu sitzen nen #Privatflieger nach #Sylt nimmt)?

After all I guess @EUCommission & @europarl_en read the relevant academic paper demanding Personal Light Vehicles instead of Super Useless Vehicles.

• Basically the #EU response to #KeiCars, which incentivize small cars in a fixed build envelope and power output would be long overdue.

So yeah, the only way #CarManufacturers in #Europe can actually succeed is to match #pricing and #quality and leverage #repairability as well as existing "Brand Support Networks"

• So instead of conditionless handouts, Goverments like @Bundesregierung and the #EU in general should get creative and do not just #investments blindly, but tie them up in mandates for #PLV|s in the form of a fixed price point.

Like IDK a € 5.000 limit retail (excl. VAT/GST cuz they vary wildly) for something that fits #L2e and € 10.000 limit retail (excl. taxes) for #L5e brand new with additional incentives if they can make it even cheaper...

And It's not as if I'm the only one saying that we need #PLVs instead of #SUVs...

But also there is no #US equivalent answer to say the #OpelRocks, #CitroenAmi or even #KeiCars for that matter, with some states having been lobbied by #US car makers to explicitly outlaw #PersonalLightVehicles for no valid reason (but that they cut into their margins)... I mean, ask @tikibunnyimports about the issues some #DMV|s will create for buyers who not just want to collect weird smol cars but actually drive them.

• Now granted, espechally when you let a convinced petrolhead with racing license like #MatthiasMalmedie drive that #PLV, you gonna see him dislike it and "not get it"...

And pricing-wise the #OpelRocksE needs to come down way more, with competing vehicles from "P.R." #China being about €1k cheaper in spite of penalty tarriffs...

• Still, we can all agree that we need #SmallerCars and with very few exceptions, a #PersonalLightVehicle makes way more sense than a jacked-up pickup truck that won't even fit into most urban roads in #Germany and espechally #Japan.
