Nothing seems to lift my spirits for long. The sheen always rubs off in my hands and I see every possible way it can go wrong, or I just can't gather the energy to sustain a good thing, or it just goes wrong on its own before I have time to feel good about it. Even things that haven't gone wrong yet don't seem to touch my moods. I'm pretty far gone.
I fully expect this commercial driving thing to either:
A. Have some hidden deal breaker.
B. Not amount to much since nobody wants to go through the trouble of getting me a work permit.
C. End quickly as insomnia makes me dangerous on the road.
My moods weren't even boosted for a full day.
Haven't been able to sleep. Can't stop thinking about how much I wish I had stayed in the US and "taken out the trash." It's not like I'm healthy enough to actually survive here anyway.
Also Aldi's yellow curry paste is vegan which is a bonus. Not quite fully vegan but I have at least cut most meat and some dairy out of my diet.
Had a nice homemade yellow curry for dinner. Mushrooms, vegan chicken chunks, and sweet bell pepper slow-simmered and served over rice. It was excellent.
So I just got my driver's license translation back from the ADAC and my Oregon license is considered the equivalent of a German class C1 license.
I can drive light commercial vehicles in Germany.
This completely changes the game. I should be able to get a decent paying job, and soon!
I still have a 20th century accent. I pronounce "cot" and "caught" differently. The 21st century accent merges these.
So groups claiming to be Anon are making a lot of large claims lately. A breach in Russia's nuclear secrets. A leaked list of passengers on deportation flights. Some unknown "bombshell" supposed to be revealed on July 4. It's possible that some or even all of it is real. "доверяй, но проверяй."
