Liebe #Pixeldfed Gemeinde, ich bitte um Verifizierung eines seltsamen Verhaltens von Pixelfed.

Man erstellt auf Pixelfed A ein Posting mit 2 oder 3 Bildern.
Pixelfed B hat den Accout von A abonniert.
Man erstellt auf Server C Friendica oder Mastodon oder einem anderen, nichtpixelfedhService ebenfalls ein Posting mit 2 oder 3 Bildern.
Pixelfed B hat diesen Account ebenfalls abonniert.

Dann checkt man auf B, ob das Posting von A und C mit alken Bildern angekommen ist.

Dann löscht man auf A und C jeweils 1 Bild und checkt auf B was passiert.

Hier war es so:
Das gelöschte Bild von A (Pixelfed) wurde noch gelistet, hatte aber kein Vorschaubild mehr und konntw nicht mehr aufgerufen werden.

Das gelöschte Bild von C wurde weiterhin angezeigt.

Nach der Nacht (18h später):
Das gelöschte Bild von A war aufgeräumt und weg. Es waren nur mehr 2 Bilder zu sehen.

Das gelöschte Bild von C (Friendica) war samt der restlichen Bilder weg. Pixelfed zeigt fälschlich ein reines Text-Posting.

I'm still liking #PixeldFed and preferring it to Flickr, mainly because it's not limited to 1000 posts before you have to start paying for it.

The one thing I've noticed, that I assume will eventually be fixed, is on the app. Even though you can make a post with up to 20 images, the app only shows the first 10, so I'm limiting mine to under 10 each. I have a backlog from decades worth of images I've taken.

Curiosity: what are #linux folks using for #photo organizing / cataloging these days? I installed #shotwell thinking that I could use it to organize my phots -- and then start posting them on #pixeldfed - or possibly to mastodon or one of of my other (Mastodon API compatible) accounts.

However, I don't see any support for PixelFed or Mastodon in Shotwell.

Is there a plugin that adds support for PixelFed and / or Mastodon to Shotwell?

Would it not be easier to do that in the #Fedivers?

Actually, the way it works is much closer to #cooperative values.

And the organizations behind the development of the #open software have lower budgets and equity requirements. You wouldn't need to gather tons of dollars or euros to make something running.

Couldn't make my mastodon.cloud follow my pixelfed.social account so... migrated to mastodon.social :) and everything is working yeahhhhh Love the #fediverse #mastodon and #pixeldfed

Right #fedi experts :

I have created an account on #pixeldfed found it from here, sent myself a follow request

But

On here it shows as having zero posts although I have actually posted a few pictures

And on there I haven't received my follow request

Is it just a matter of waiting for things to sync or am I doing something wrong?
