• Unless you use RAL 4010 ( #E20074 ) as a telco provider, then you can expect DTAG to come after you with disrespectful quickness, but that ain't the problem here...

I do like how your projects are done with such care and detail as to seamlessly fit in, regardless if #PicoIDE or the #PicoGUS, which obviously got the closest possible solder mask colour to the original...

• Certainly the PicoIDE is a good option for all those that go "OPTICAL MEDIA BAD!" and just want a convenient option for their legacy/ retro setups.
  • Similar to how the #GOTEK Floppy Emulators and #FlashFloppy really solved that problem conveniently...

@polpo Same, but I guess you'd not have started the #PicoGUS project (nor would've @rasteri done the #Wee86 & #WeeCee) if that was always the option.

• Personally I want to run @OS1337 on real hardware but a real #i486SX is a pain to acquire and setup, so I'm looking at some #PCI104Plus-based idea to get that going and have a #Bridging / #Archival machine that I can chug in a #QuadFlop!

Granted, I do like the #PicoGUS because unlike the #Wee86 / #WeeCee by @rasteri it doesn't rely on new old stock of #CS4237B / #CS4237 sound chips, making it a more longerm-sustainable option…

• And having alternate options is important!
