The #picno uses a Sony CXA1145 IC to convert RGB to a composite video signal. This IC (or derivative) is also used in the NeoGeo AES, Mega Drive and some Amiga computers.
Here are 2 custom #konami ICs. The 054715 is probably a derivative of one of their ICs used in the arcades (numbered 054xxx). The HN62334BP is probably the ROM chip that has the default software that runs when no card is inserted. #picno
After removing the digitizer, we can have a better look at the main board. Although the back of the case says RX202, the main board indicated RX001. Maybe they only changed the looks but always kept the inside the same? #konami #picno #retrogaming
After removing 8 gamebit screws we can have a look inside. The digitizer seems very simple, maybe some good cleaning of the surface will will fix the non-working and shifted buttons. It's very simple, don't really see what else could be causing the problems. #konami #picno

Once a card is inserted it will run it's software. In this case it's "Picno de Ku Ku". It is an educational type of software. I read the #picno was made after #konami saw how well the Sega Pico was selling. #retrogaming
Testing the #konami Picno 2. It woerks! Without a software card inserted it will run it's internal software. Basically a drawing program. The digitizer seems a little off, some of the buttons seem shifted, some not working, some working fine. Usage is anything but smooth. #retrogaming #picno
