Here are a few more detailed pictures of the Mexican horse saddle project for the old Harley.
The nails are not made industrially and there are many of them installed. The screws are simple wood screws with a lens-flat head. The table is made of artificial teddy fur.
And the many of the screws go far into the saddle; that was certainly not a pleasure for the horse. The wood is red and very hard. The white decorative seam is plastic. The metal applications are probably tinned or silver-plated brass.
Is anyone familiar with this type of saddle and can give me some background information about it?

Die Nägel sind nicht industriell gefertigt und es sind viele davon verbaut. Die Schrauben sind schlichte Holzschrauben mit einem Linsen-Flachkopf. Die Schabracke ist aus Kunst-Teddypelz.
Und die viele der Schrauben gehen bis weit in die Schabracke; das war sicher kein Vergnügen für das Pferd. Das Holz ist rot und sehr hart. Die weiße Ziernaht ist Kunststoff. Die Metall-Applikationen sind wahrscheinlich verzinntes oder versilbertes Messing. Kennt sich jemand mit dieser Art Sätteln aus und kann mir etwas Hintergrundwissen dazu geben?
