I'm not in the protocol details, but as a lay person, I'ld:

1. Make sure to use a globally unique message id. Messages can have different ids, but there is one assigned by the server (MAM id?), that is the same across clients.

2. Assign a PEP node for pinning and either have one item with the list of ids (of the pinned messages) or, alternatively, have one item per pinned message id. No idea, what is better.

If there is a problem in #XMPP, the solution is #PEP/#PubSub. Always.

Vous connaissiez les f-strings et les t-strings, une nouvelle PEP propose les d-strings (https://peps.python.org/pep-0822/), qui permettraient de désindenter des chaines de caractères. Cela permet notamment de décorréler l'indentation du texte manipulé de l'indentation du code qui définit ce texte. Les d-strings permettront ainsi de se passer de textwrap.dedent (https://docs.python.org/3/library/textwrap.html#textwrap.dedent).

Hello data fans!

Some newish API things on the PEPs website.

release-cycle.json is summary of Python x.y releases from 1.6: support status, release PEP, release manager, important dates.

python-releases.json also has info for each x.y.z version: release date and whether actual/planned.

release-schedule.ics is an iCal, especially useful if you're a release manager and want to plan [your life around] releases.
