I splurged on a pen boxed set that #PenChalet has on sale for today and applied a 10% #FountainPenDay discount as well. Monteverde’s pen shaped homage to Piet Mondrian’s Broadway Boogie-Woogie. It’s a limited edition and comes in a lovely box with a bottle of ink with a label that also references the artwork. I chose the flex nib for it.

Mondrian is one of my favorite artists. @christi3k once sent me a postcard of this piece of artwork from NYC, postmarked on my birthday. I’ve been eyeing this pen set ever since I first saw it.

No deals on the #DiamineInk I wanted from the black edition (2024) of the #InkventCalendar, but I’m happy to have found the three I wanted full bottles of.

I am sure #PenChalet does their giveaways to get people to talk about them on social media, but I do not mind falling into their scheme: I got a lovely free Opus 88 Koloro demonstrator in next year’s colors in my order from their sale. My order which contained (for I am very abstemious and well behaved) zero pens!
