Ethically and morally, it is wrong that kids have to suffer with illness, disability, and even death as a direct result of their parents’ ignorance to scientific information.

But, then, there probably is no use in outright blaming parents, and esp not as a whole. When I actually examine who I’m angry at, it’s those who know better and still choose to act with no regard for others.

Pretty striking—a #Brooklyn playground I frequent, in #CrownHeights specifically, is close to empty today. 3 kids running around, whereas just a week and a half ago, there were easily 18 on any given weekday.

Most people walking through the park are coughing, and maskless, of course.
