To me, #mastodon is not like being on the open road. It is like sitting on a big wooden porch swing and watching the cars drive by.

Occasionally someone will run over from the table under the #pecanTree for #instance and tell you what people are chatting about over there.

I like things to be a little slow. I like the #news to be a bit distant, and I like things to be #friendly.

My region's pecan trees are having a mast year. I know these are well past flowering stage but they are related nonetheless. Plus they are beautiful and smell wonderful!
