Alexander Corby 🇵🇷We found a house today with an ostentation of peacocks.
I had originally guessed "gallantry of peacocks" as the collective noun, which sounds pretty good to me. But Grammar Monster tells me the correct term is 'ostentation', 'pride', or 'muster' of peacocks.
These were hanging around a local neighborhood house. The guys with the big tails would rattle the feathers every now and again. Also, a peacock's call sounds a lot like a goose.
