Eine Rohrweihe (Circus aeruginosus) beim Fressen am Boden. Das gelbe Auge, die rotbraune Federung und die grauen Flügelpartien deuten auf ein adultes Männchen hin. Diese Greifvögel jagen tief über Röhrichte und Felder und schlagen Kleinsäuger, Vögel und Frösche.

Although Scaly Breasted Munia are native to Southern Asia, they were very popular as caged pets for a while, so although I hate to even think of those beautiful creatures living in a cage, I do like that enough of them escaped to make their presence known in many parts of the world.
