It seams to me like the #NextCloud developers and project are #toxic. I've seen many examples. For example, it is very hard to get information from their help forums, moderators there reply with irrelevant information; trying to get any useful information from them is like pulling teeth. The documentation is sparse and intentionally obtuse. They have a huge number or bumps in the road/skill filters, like unnecessarily aggressive error login to scare new users and noobs away. But on the other hand in their marketing they say NextCloud is for everyday people that don't want #big-tech anymore. I feel that they are not an #FOSS project, they use #FOSS as a coverup to push people to pay them. I am sure they have lots of #payed-services to offer.
