If this spring would have been normal I would have slept at #parentalunit this weekend and probably have spent a few hours in Dokkum trying to get a glimpse of the King.

But the #parentalunit is on holiday, that had to be postponed three times in the last two years because of health issues, so once that was all behind us there was no holding back 😂

Celebrated my future cake day (sorry German friends) today as per tradition with #parentalunit and #sibling in #hilversum. Had lunch and diner together and visited Hilversum city hall #dudok #ftw and Huis Sloëtjes, a totally unaltered home from the 1950s. Both a major recommendation!
I love how the #parentalunit bought me a 3d printer #becausereasons which I subsequently left at his place and now he’s improving his camping life with #gridfinity bins in the cutlery drawer of the #vwcalifornia
The #parentalunit is going overboard on his miniature nativity scene. How many babies and what’s that on the #volkswagen bus?
@jonty since the current obsession with the #parentalunit is 3D printing/CNC I am “forced” to learn it as well

My evil plan to rule the wo… Sorry, to learn 3D drawing with #Fusion is moving along nicely. I did pick up some stuff while translating Autodesk help from English to Dutch for the #parentalunit.

My first attempt, the #Apricot #trackball (yes I know it’s from another manufacturer)

The #parentalunit is building a combined copier/planer table for wood. For the copying he uses 3D printed templates. Today was the first test and it seems to work. I created the template using the 3d printer.
The #parentalunit has a new project. This is a prototype to learn more about #fusion360, and #3dprinting to create templates for the actual end product.
