I've found that the panphy.social client handles boosts really well. The devs have implemented a "Boost Carousel" that will show up in the home timeline every so often with several of the recent boosts from folks I follow, with arrow buttons to scroll through 5, 10 or 20 boosts. It doesn't clutter the TL, and it saves the extra step of muting someone's boosts. #panphy
Features I really like on the Panphy client:
Post Stats: Gives you a breakdown of a user's last day or so of posts in the categories "Original" "Replies" and "Boosts."
Before, I would back-read a user's timeline before following to see if I needed to mute their boosts. This would be useful for that except,
BOOST CAROUSEL!: Instead of cluttering the TL with boosts, you get one of these handy things every so often that shows you all the recent boosts from people you follow!
I really like the Boost/Re-Post Carousel feature in Panphy. It seems like every fifteen minutes there's a new carousel and I can flip through that, instead of having all those posts in my main timeline. Threading is nice, I missed that from TweetDeck. Multi-column support is elegant. Emoji support is weird, but you can just use the in-built ones from the OS. I like it. Recommend.
