Oriental Wind by Okay Temiz's Oriental Wind, released on Sonet in 1977.

Swedish Progg wrote:

...As with Sevda, this is jazz with a Turkish twist. The musicianship's extraordinary, with bass man Palle Danielsson, pianist Bobo Stenson and sax player Lennart Åberg (Rena Rama and others) being the Swedes in the lot. Temiz himself is one of the few that can play a drum solo that aren't merely a pee break to the listener; his playing is marvellous, he always keeps the momentum going through sharp attention without ever losing the direction. He truly leads the band, focuses each of the musicians' efforts into one collective, transcendent performance. It's a true joy to listen to ”Oriental Wind”, and other Sevda fans ought to be just as delighted as I am by it. Simply excellent.

Landscapes by Rena Rama, released on Japo in 1977.

Tyran Grillo wrote for ECM Reviews:

Saxophonist, flutist, and composer Lennart Åberg is among ECM’s sleeper talents. Having graced the label only as sideman to 1994’s Dona Nostra, his brilliance was saved instead for the limited JAPO imprint. On this record he is joined by fellow Swedes Bobo Stenson (piano) and Palle Danielsson (bass), both familiar to ECM listeners. Perhaps not is American drummer Leroy Lowe, who rounds out this incarnation of the quartet known as Rena Rama and played with the group from 1975 to 1983. Born 1944 on a Pittsburg farm, Lowe began playing drums in his high school marching band and later befriended such greats as Billy Hart in his quest for a personal voice...

Dansere (Norwegian: "Dancers") is the second album credited to the Jan Garbarek–Bobo Stenson Quartet, recorded in November 1975 and released on ECM the following year. The quartet features rhythm section Palle Danielsson and Jon Christensen.

Tyran Grillo wrote for ECM Reviews:

There is a tendency in ECM’s formative jazz releases toward immersive beginnings. Dansere is no exception, with its introductory flutter of sax and glittering piano runs. Comparing this album to Belonging, which features Keith Jarrett in the same company as Bobo Stenson is here, it’s amazing to consider the differences with another pianist at the fulcrum. One musician’s worth of difference may not seem like much on the back of an album jacket, but here it translates into essentially ten new voices with their own sensibility of time and space...

Ended yesterday and started Friday with the eponymous debut LP by Rena Rama a Swedish jazz band formed in 1971, noted for mixing jazz, unusual time signatures, and African and Asian folk themes.

Its original personnel included Lennart Åberg (saxophone, flute), Bobo Stenson (piano), Palle Danielsson (bass), and Bengt Berger (drums). Both Stenson and Åberg previously had worked with Red Mitchell, and Danielsson with Steve Kuhn. Berger had previously studied percussion in India. Stenson had already recorded his first trio LP titled Underwear (ECM).

Recordings with the original lineup include the LP Rena Rama on the Caprice label, recorded in Stockholm in 1973 - Wikipedia

Grazing Dreams is the second album by American sitarist and composer Collin Walcott, recorded in February 1977 and released on ECM later that year. Walcott's quintet features trumpeter Don Cherry and rhythm section John Abercrombie, Palle Danielsson, and Dom Um Romão.

Tyran Grillo wrote for ECM Reviews:

"A plaintive, leisurely journey from Collin Walcott, North American pioneer in the art of the jazz sitar and ECM visionary whose life ended all too soon at the age 39...

...Grazing Dreams is structured as long-form whole in which individual tracks blend into the overarching power that binds them. “Song Of The Morrow” starts things off right with flirtatious sitar riffs appearing and disappearing against a reverberant wash of guitar and trumpet while subtle and varied percussion sections sneak past in the background."

Witchi-Tai-To is an album by the Jan Garbarek–Bobo Stenson Quartet recorded over two days in November 1973 and released on ECM the following year. The quartet features rhythm section Palle Danielsson and Jon Christensen.

Tyran Grillo wrote for ECM Reviews:

"...Last but not least is “Desireless.” This Don Cherry tune is given a 20-minute treatment that surpasses all expectations. It’s a mournful closer, a song of parting, an unrequited wish. It tries to hold on to a rope that is slipping through its fingers, even as it struggles with all the strength at its disposal to keep the music alive. Garbarek refuses to go down without an incendiary swan song, however, and by the end it is all we have left..."
