A soggy, solo Sunday ride out. The first 75 minutes was dry with the odd spit of rain. The last 15 minutes was a whole different story...so wet! Still, it's always great to get out, despite the forecast. 70km done this morning, the first half with #DukinfieldCC, up to the top of #LongHill with a lovely #tailwind. The club carried on to #Hartington and I did a 180 and came back via #Strines and #Compstall. I met up with the #DukinfieldCC guys first thing but left them after a few miles as I had to head for home. I needed to sort the loft out as we're getting the roof done so I have to make space! This picture is on Middlewood Road, near #HazelGrove. The very busy A6 is in stone throwing distance but you can't hear it from this spot. Last Sunday was very misty in east #Manchester, so I did my old "commute", down the #FallowfieldLoop towards #SalfordQuays, then back. Approximately 35km but 90% traffic free. #Chorlton has a couple of cobbled stretches down some backstreets so it's always good to get the Spring Classics training in early! #Cycling #OsgarTheOrro #OrroBikes

Today's #ride was what Monday's would have been if I hadn't gotten double impact punctures on the #PinarelloMarvel. Not a problem on #tubeless and #OsgarTheOrro never lets me down! 55km done heading south from mine to just past #ManchesterAirport and turn for home at #Wilmslow. After Wilmslow is #Woodford where this shared path section starts and takes you all the way to #HazelGrove, near #Stockport, about 5km. Sweet! Got home just as my wife rang our son for tech support on how to tether her phone to her Chromebook while she was at her brother's. Invoice is emailed!
