Orrie Hitt’s 1957 novel Trailer Tramp falls into the trailer camp sleaze sub-genre. Sex and sin in trailer camps adding up to trouble. Hitt was a genius at combining sleaze and noir. This book has both although he certainly wrote better books.

Dial ‘M’ for Man is an excellent 1962 Orrie Hitt novel. He's usually described as a writer of sleaze fiction but mostly his books are noir fiction with some sleaze. This one is pure noir fiction. An honest TV repairman meets a dangerous blonde.

Orrie Hitt’s 1954 novel She Got What She Wanted is fairly typical of his work, blending noir fiction and sleaze fiction. This one is very noir, as a girl gets tired of living on farm and heads to the big city to make her fortune, at any cost.

It's not just noirish, it's very good noirish fiction.
