Heath ArcadiaI decided to go for another hike yesterday. I chose the Stahlman Point Trail in Willamette National Forest. This trail climbs about 1,000 feet to the former site of a fire lookout at the peak. From there, there are great views of the surrounding area, including Mt. Jefferson. The only wildlife I saw was a Varied Thrush not far from the top, though I heard a lot more birds... They just hid very well.

It's super windy and rainy today, and I'm still not feeling my best, so I am staying in and going through some of my older photography that I have not posted.
On July 15, 2023, I hiked around the Frog Lake area and in the Mt Hood Wilderness. At Lower Twin Lake, I encountered some curious Canada Jays. The trails here offer views of both Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson.
