Samsung Electronics labor talks resume; focus on whether deal is reached before general strike
Samsung Electronics and its unions have returned to the bargaining table after negotiations broke down for several months. The joint labor body said it decided to resume talks after the company indicated it would accept discussions on making the OPI bonus scheme more transparent and abolishing its cap. Working-level talks start on March 25, followed by intensive talks on March 26 and 27. The unions are maintaining a planned general strike in May.
