If your kid has AuDHD, you should sit down with them and have "the talk" about how it's okay to protest, negotiate, and self-advocate when you think you're being treated unfairly. Just like you have "the talk" about sex.

No one else is going to teach them that, and I can almost guarantee you've conditioned them (by accident[?]) to shut their mouth tight and take the L whenever they feel unfairly treated.
