One UI 8.5 Beta Program for the Z Fold/Flip7 is now open!

One UI 8.5 has made a significant appearance, with new features, design improvements, and other improvements. We are very thrilled to announce that Samsung has recently opened the One UI 8.5 Beta Program for the Galaxy Z Fold/Flip7 in the following countries:

• Korea
• United States of America
• United Kingdom
• India

This gives us a hint that the Beta Program is now open. Users should be able to try out One UI 8.5 in its earliest shape and form on their Galaxy Z Fold/Flip7 devices.

Please note that Samsung might not have opened the Beta program in your country yet, even if your country is eligible for beta testing. In this case, you’ll have to wait for the beta banner.

To join the Beta Program, you must have the latest version of Samsung Members installed. You can get the latest version through either the Galaxy Store or the Play Store. Once done, you should be able to join the program if you have an eligible device.

One UI 8.5 has made a significant appearance, with new features and other improvements. We are very thrilled to announce that Samsung has released the seventh beta version of One UI 8.5 (build ZZC7) that has the following changes:

• Bugs that have been fixed
  • Fixed an issue where a call would switch to a video call.
  • Fixed an issue where the GMS app color palette was not applied to the Work/Security folder.
  • Improved visibility of the Gmail search input field in dark mode.
  • Improved forced termination issue when running a new gallery project
  • Improved the issue of failing to export photos from private gallery albums.
  • Improved the issue of Toast pop-ups not appearing in overheated situations while connected to DeX.
  • Improved Fahrenheit temperature information truncation issue after adding a city list to the weather widget.
  • Improved one-time Wi-Fi recovery issue that occurs during Wi-Fi roaming scans with APs that support MBSSID (Multiple BSSID)
  • Improved the stuttering and freezing issues that occur when first entering the unread messages folder in the Samsung Messages app.
  • Improved the issue of not displaying notifications under certain conditions
  • If you do not agree with ‘Hi’ in certain situations, improve the issue where ‘Hoohoo’ cannot be used (KT only)
• Many other improvements

This beta version of One UI 8.5 may not be the last one, since the Galaxy Z Fold/Flip7 beta for One UI 8.5 didn’t start yet.
