Weird happy thing. My elderly pup lost a tooth last night. It'd been bothering him for a while, was wicked loose and painful. He's now much less resistant to me brushing the teeth on that side of his mouth. (the vet couldn't pull it because my pup can't handle anesthesia)

Anyways, my old pup's in less pain and I'm happy.

Tiny Dog has started leaning in to the separation anxiety. He used to be ok with Partner working from home while I (his One True Human) work from Elsewhere.

Lately pup has been howling his displeasure at my absence. No one is happy about this. We've tried having Partner and Pup walk me to my car, tried me leaving without fanfare. Pup is still upset.

Tomorrow, we're going to try making a MeScarecrow out of my smelly dirty clothes stuffed with more of my things, and putting it under Partner's desk so Pup can snuggle it. Wish us luck. #oldmandog #separationanxiety
