Got a #ThinkPad T61 from a friend with a bunch of accessories, really cool stuff. The PureOS here is just a random live USB I had around, I installed Linux Mint for the moment, but if I want to use this more seriously I'll probably use an Arch derivative or NixOS.

Very nice! #alacritty terminal emulater now runs on many older GPUs as well and I can use it on my #thinkpad #x200t !

There was a workaround for using it with software rendering before, but I had never gotten around to incorporating that into my configs. but https://github.com/alacritty/alacritty/commit/1880522b64d9a5276acea428705c011cbbf8c04c added rendering support for older #OpenGL versions.

So everybody: install alacritty v 0.11 on your #oldThinkpad
