@galdor how about alternative approach.
Pick an os with reproducibility and portability across the architectures + written in a language that offers referential transparency.
Start on main machine
Bake the iso for cost effective #ohw and deploy it for extra processing power ( and memory) you need ?

On a serious note, Dell had one of the best customer care service here and this is is a huge market, non trivially employed by #it
At some point it had to cost more than letting users fix things . Thanks to #ohw and mass adoption of #raspberrypi
