@comicmuse TBH this is why I've always considered the #offsides rule in #soccer #football a little stupid. Even if someone is "not involved in the play" the defense is still aware of them. Can't just ignore them bc you guess they're offsides. I prefer the rule in ice #hockey which is more clear cut.
