When reading about #Trump‘s „deeply evil expectorations“ as Frank Bruni recently wrote in his #nytimesopinion column, I automatically think that Trump is what Germans call „unwählbar“. Looking up the translation, my sources say „ineligible“, which is, I suppose correct. There is another connotation to the word in German, however, that I feel gets lost in translation. „Unwählbar“ also implies that a vote for Trump is unjustifiable and goes against basic human decency and reason.
Currently listening to #EzraKlein (who seems determined to sink to the level of his #NYTimesOpinion peers) point to #JoeBiden's more somber tone in the most recent campaign kickoff as definitive proof of age-related decline.
@luckytran For anyone who wants to really dig into the history and hear both sides of the Israel Palestine conflict, Ezra Klein of #nytimesopinion is doing a fantastic series on his Podcast. #GazaWar #IsraelPalestineconflict

#LLMs #MLSec

Farhad Manjoo begins his NYT column today with:

“I’ve got 99 problems with A.I., but intellectual property ain’t one.”

He conflates learning by LLMs with learning by human beings. This is wrong on at least a couple of levels (see subsequent posts).

If you read his column, and are in a position to contact him directly, it might be worth your while to try to educate him.
