Packed for the #thrudball #BloodBowl tournament yesterday and I can happily say I've made it past airport security on my trip to Brum WITHOUT ANY ANNOYING QUESTIONS* for the first time in my life!

Oh by #nuffle I hate flying and #Schiphol airport most of all.

#BloodBowl7s tonight, two days of unapologetic dice rolling and meeting friends over the weekend at the #Glastonbury of blood bowl!

once again I found myself being #Nuffle 's Witness and recruiting people interested in #BloodBowl - and once again I found myself at a camp site unprepared.

Spent most of my time trying to make a magnetic travel set but that proved too arduous. Eventually called around in the local area for a #bloodbowl7s set, and now I've got a NIB vampires team, a pair of clippers, glue, some paint, a massive knife, and I've started building them and making a cardboard pitch 🤣🤣🤣

A bit more #mordheim ruin detailing, and drafted a setup for a full fat #bloodbowl league season because by #nuffle these nerds are so damn thirsty to be #ontheball. Loving the name the group voted for and loving that I'm able to call it 'full fat' as opposed to 7s while the name is 'FLABBY'🤣 life choices - I should have intervened, shouldn't I?

Local rookie #BloodBowl league final night

A lot of fun was had, a try hard wood elf coach was put on a chess clock, and a skaven coach rolled mostly 1s.

Fun was had!

Favoured of #nuffle (Tournament winner): wood elves
Most casualties: the other wood elves (that's so wrong)
Most foul casualties: vampires
Paper armour (Most casualties sustained): lizardmen (also very wrong)
Wooden spoon (lowest ranked): ogres

I am vicariously enjoying these people enjoying the game

I think I should have organised a #bloodbowl league earlier because trying to get a game appointment at the local nerd hole turned into two people saying yes to learning the game.

So instead I sat down with two fellas learning the game playing each other.

Unfortunately they had that weirdest game because almost every pick up attempt was flubbed 🤣 #Nuffle wouldn't have it.

Played a game of #BloodBowl against newbie Aron, who wanted skaven. I brought all marauder khorne for lolz, but #Nuffle wouldn't let Aron get any dice (pic for proof). I, on the other hand, made the most disgusting stretch plays, worst marauder v Rogre frenzy blitzes and removed all but three of his off the pitch by consistently making ratburger.

He did enjoy it tho 😅 1-1
