Not content with banning Pride in Protest, then having them assaulted by NSW Police, Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras have now suspended two board members who are part of Pride in Protest because they have been trying to advance trans rights and corporate rejection in Mardi Gras.
It's now clear anyone who isn't gay or lesbian are not welcome at the Mardi Gras, which has been the case for years. We're now seeing it codified in the Mardi Gras' board.
Until the name changes, until the current, non-suspended, board resigns, it will always be a bigoted bootlicker parade
I don't use Bluesky, because gross, but my mum sent me this. I can't find the source, otherwise, but it definitely inspires some much needed hope.

Alexandra Caples suggested expanded NSW laws could ‘damage trust between police and communities, undermining broader efforts to counter extremism’
The Labor leader was also advised further hate speech reforms conceived in the aftermath of the Bondi beach terror attack risked making the problem worse."
