We saw a couple dozen bison grazing when we drove through Theodore Roosevelt National Park yesterday. These massive herbivore can weigh up to 2200 lbs. Although they run up to 40mph, it was a hot day and we saw them barely move. Although called "buffalo" by many (including sometimes me), there are no buffalo in North America, just bison.
