Nanobox support has now been added to the official Mastodon repository! The next tag (1.4rc4?) will contain everything you need to #develop and/or #deploy #Mastodon with #Nanobox! And the official documentation includes instructions for how to actually do the deploy, so everything you need is now available via official channels.

I'm very proud of my work on the #Nanobox configs for #Mastodon, but I also don't want to blast every person having a hard time deploying with unwanted info about it. It's pretty difficult to stop myself from replying to every toot I see that's complaining about how hard it is to deploy on X platform. It could make things simpler, since it does all the setup for you, but I don't wanna be rude about it, y'know?

This will pass, I'm sure. Just difficult right now.

Good news! The issues with post-v1.1.1 #Mastodon on #Nanobox have been resolved (in time for v1.2 to be tagged)! Grab the latest version on the feature/nanobox branch (currently even with v1.2) and follow the instructions near the end of the README!
