We walked for around six hours, even had to take our shoes off several times because the trail was flooded. Towards the end we visited an old Abbey in ruins (Muckross Abbey) that was really beautiful with a super old yew tree growing in the central courtyard. In the evening, we went to a local pub for some food and mocktails. It was a long day and I just woke up after sleeping for 10 hours uninterruptedly. Hiking in the cold Irish wind does seem to be exhausting π
