I'm curious, is it by default for #MstdnSocial to always have your post privacy set to followers?
I'm looking for ways to set my default post privacy to public, so I don't have to set it every time I want to post something. I do not see any settings for this in Preferences.
I have had to delete & repost one to many a posts with the proper settings.
I have read that deleting posts are an intensive process.

I'm told other mastodon instances support AVIF and accounts can upload these files without a 500 error
It seems mstdn.social doesn't for some reason so its not a mastodon limitation per se but something instance by instance which is a shame because I know it takes time for changes and support for new things to roll out
