On Sunday it's the International Day of Women in Science. I'm curious: how do you evaluate the compatibility of motherhood and an academic career?
I'm doing a PhD while raising two kids. I love doing research. But what if I don't want to be jumping between temporary postdoc positions in different cities (or even countries) every 2-3 years with my kids?
We should talk about this. Any fellow mothers in science out there who want to share their experiences?
Fun fact: I was pregnant with my first child while defending my thesis 💪
