@tofugolem You rationalized non-transparency which may be useful in some particular scenarios. You did not sufficiently support the zero transparency stance that you push.. the claim that bans should never be transparent. You have some more debunking to do as baddies come in many forms & your one-size-fits-all proposal is a recipe for disaster (just as Reddit shadowbans are a disaster). Having the option of transparent mod actions like Lemmy’s #modlog would improve #Mastodon.
