You know, the #MNTPocketReform is basically a cyberdeck already, but you could put the innards into a non-laptop "box" and hook external power & peripherals to it to make it even more so.

I'm unlikely to do this really (I'm a horrible dilettante) , but I may have a spare motherboard for it "soon" (as these things go) and I may want to try repurposing one of my CPU cards.

Maybe the upcoming MNT Station would be a better prospect using my v2.5 motherboard.

I finally went back to @hive76.bsky.social after work last night to print off some buttons for the Tangarine faceplate for my #tangara, and recently got the new holographic sleeve for my #mntpocketreform. Building up my collection of shiny modified open hardware devices :D

After 4 months my custom etched copper back plate of my @mntmn Pocket Reform slowly started to form a nice patina. Really curious how it will develop further #mntreform #mntpocketreform

Look at this cute chonk! I just received my purple #mntpocketreform from @mntmn and its awesome. As open source as a laptop can probably get (down to firmware and hardware schematics!!) and built so well that I'm afraid I might damage the floor if I ever drop it.

Today is my birthday. For the last year or so I've been saving up slowly for a #mntpocketreform computer as it's been my dream for a while to get a computer from the wonderful people of #MNT. It was my plan to order it on my birthday and I essentially have the funds mostly ready but I feel like I would need a tiny bit more to cover shipping, taxes, and other surprise fees. A month or two more of saving would probably cover it, but ordering it on my birthday sounds like a lot more fun.

So, if anyone wants to help me out a little bit one can find my music on bandcamp under a pay what you want model with very low minimum prices.
