Japan diary, day138

I changed rio layout setting.
I think I understand a little about 9front, but I still have a long way to go.
Because I've managed to build four 9front systems, I think I can study programming and networking.
I've been saying this all along (>_<).
But even for a beginner like me, 9front and mnt reform are fun to play around with (^_^).

#PocketReform or #MNTReform Next ??? Love a straightforward, workman laptop - love the idea of a wee computer hooked up to a monitor for desk use and then little computer on the go???? idk!

Frankly, the #MNTReform is a far more interesting machine -- it takes even bigger swings, and in the year I've had both the framework 13 and the MNT Reform, I've swapped around the usb modules on the 13, but actually had three different CPU modules, done physical mods to expose the internal serial port, replaced a blown fuse, swapped the trackball and touchpad modules, AND have an upgraded motherboard on the way for the Reform. No contest which one I'm more impressed by.

I should decide on a "I want to run my #MNTReform laptop entirely off solar this summer" plan. I would ideally use a small battery and panel for this project, but that's not entirely practical due to battery sizes, I think.

I absolutely have the panel and battery capacity to do this, the question is just "how small and inexpensively can I do this and still have it be practical".

I work from home and basically have it on from waking to sleeping because I'm a giant dork.

Finally, I succeeded to install 9front to ThikPad P14s Gen1 !!
I struggled with /dev/sdN0/esp setting and vga setting.
Clockwise from the top left, Panasonic CF-SV, MNT reform i.Mx8MQ, MNT reform A311D (Debian/Linux), ThinkPad.
