The Minister of Interior of the Government of National Unity, Emad Al-Trabelsi, addressed the security units stationed in state-owned locations and institutions' headquarters to quickly evacuate them within 24 hours. Al-Trabelsi called for handing over the headquarters and institutions affiliated with the state to the Tripoli Security Directorate.
Minister of Interior Emad Trabulsi has pledged to prevent issuance of permits to establish new fuel stations, and to follow up on stations involved in smuggling and close them down. In a press conference, Friday, Trabulsi stressed the magnitude of the smuggling problem, noting that "the amount of smuggled fuel is very large and there are countries neighboring Libya that rely on smuggled Libyan fuel."

Abdel Razzaq Al-Dalabeeh by an unidentified gunman late Thursday, pressure has been mounting on Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh to appear in public and suggest a political settlement that will end the 14-day public transport and truck drivers’ strike that has spread from southern governorates to most parts of the Kingdom, according to local media outlets.
