One of the coolest synth band out of Montreal. If you are into 80s electro, listen to it. Rational Youth, with an extended dance mix of City of Night on A side & on B side is original Cite Phosphore (one of the songs that got me doing #electronicmusic) in French, along Power Zone. #vinyl 12" remix on YUL records (YUL is the code for Dorval airport, one of 2 main airports servicing Montreal).

The Korg Mini-Pops 7 - the legendary Jarre drum machine from Oxygène. This is almost unique in having that “Quijada” sound. The original instrument is made from a donkey’s jawbone and teeth.

Sadly, this arrived very broken and inspection revealed it to be a decades-old cat pee victim. Now - it’s cleaned up and largely restored, and fully working again. We’ve also fitted the excellent @tubbutec Unipulse MIDI adaptor.
