I have not had the time yet to write and reflect about my visit in the zone à defendre (#ZAD) in Notre-Dame-des-Landes near Nantes three weeks ago. Will do so soon.

The last thing I expected, and the first thing I bumped into, in that autonomous zone is #LaBulleNoire where Lucas creates his excellent #microbrews. I guess every revolution needs its own brewery!

The beers are excellent, and the labels — with local creatures drawn by Saskia (@saskiademz on #Instagram) — are gorgeous.

There’s a new beer fest coming to Bend on Saturday, October 29 that embraces the Halloween weekend theme — #BeersFromTheDead — celebrating classic Oregon #microbrews back from their graves. It's taking place at the Midtown Yacht Club from noon to 6pm.
