What Was The Point of October 7th? How the US-Israeli War Against Iran Was All Part of the Plan
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYudVjjt2E8 What did Yahya Sinwar and the other leaders of Hamas expect to gain in the long run from the Al-Aqsa Flood in October of 2023? Most media in the US and UK have overlooked this question over the two and a half years since the flood began. Book Report: Blackshirts & Reds by Parenti
Blackshirts: Fascists / Nazis
Reds: Socialists / Communists
This is the first book by Michael Parenti that I've ever read, and I really enjoyed it. It has many facts and references, and covers the rise of the popularity of capitalism within the USSR, the propaganda about the USSR, including stories about gulags, and addresses problems with the USSR, including problems in resource allocation planning. It covers the effects of the fall of the USSR on Eastern European countries when the capitalists took over, including devastating wealth inequality and poverty.
I've ordered "Against Empire" as my next book from Parenti because I enjoyed this book so much.

"Globalization and Democracy: Some Basics"
The goal of the transnational corporation is to become truly transnational, poised above the sovereign power of any particular nation, while being served by the sovereign powers of all nations. Cyril Siewert, chief financial officer of Colgate Palmolive Company, could have been speaking for all transnationals when he remarked, "The United States doesn't have an automatic call on our [corporation's] resources. There is no mindset that puts this country first."
