NRTA Maintenance Delegation visits Qinghai: Exchange, Research, and Inspection

A five-member delegation led by Wang Wenxue, vice director of the NRTA Radio Station Management Bureau’s maintenance department, visited the Qinghai provincial mediumwave station management center from May 13 to 14 and held professional exchanges there. Vice director Wang Wenxue shared experience in the precise tuning of mediumwave and shortwave transmission security and reliability and maintenance management systems. The two sides focused on the pain points and blockages that are currently in the way of high-quality development of cutting-edge broadcasting, and on future trends.

[A/the] research team conducted on-site inspections of the Center’s monitoring, dispatch, and command platform, as well as of Stations 566 and 560. They observed firsthand the operational mechanisms of the central platform in areas such as end-to-end intelligent dispatching, multidimensional dynamic monitoring, AI-powered early warning, and full-link closed-loop control, reviewed the achievements of the "Qinghai Medium Wave Party Member Pioneer Commando*.", and gained an in-depth understanding of the practical effectiveness of the smart operation and maintenance system at grassroots stations. The research team highly commended the center’s conceptual framework and practical experience in developing the smart operation and maintenance system, and, from an industry pespective, offered valuable suggestions on optimizing system functions and on enhancing efficiency. By means of on-site "diagnostic assessments" they conducted precise testing and evaluation of various indicators of the antenna and feedline system and comprehensively identified technical bottlenecks, providing clear technical guidance and directions for improvement to further enhance the signal transmission stability, audio clarity, and overall coverage quality.
调研组实地考察了中心监测调度指挥平台和566台、560台,现场观摩了总平台在全流程智能调度、多维动态监测、AI智能预警以及全链路闭环控制等方面的运行机制,了解了“青海中波党员先锋突击队”的建设成效;深入了解了智慧运维系统在基层台站的应用实效。调研组对中心智慧运维系统的建设思路与实践经验给予高度评价,并从行业高度就系统功能优化与效能提升提出了宝贵建议;通过现场“把脉问诊”,对天馈线系统各项指标进行精准检测评估、全面梳理技术瓶颈,为进一步提升广播信号传输稳定性、音质清晰度及全域覆盖质量提供了明确的技术指导意见与改进方向。
During this research and exchange, the two sides formed a common understanding of establishing a normalized communication mechanism, fostering mutual technical advancement, sharing resources, and jointly promoting development. They expressed their commitment to cooperation to improve the quality of mediumwave broadcasts, to strengthen capabilities to ensure broadcast security, and to join and coordinate forces to open a new dimension in broadcasting technology.
