I think, before anyone starts talking about how this part or that part of culture has taken a left turn, about how "they've" weaponised this or that, or point out the obvious mind control of social media, they need to read the works of Marshall McLuhan. Even just reading The Media is the Message, will solve so much of what you find puzzling or confusing. McLuhan foresaw all of this shit show and lays it out clearly and succinctly.

I find the only question I am left with, is how is the myth of Cassandra still not seen as a lesson until after the fact?
