I experimented with some watercolor in the studio today attempting to emulate the way Maxfield Parrish painted mountains. He used oils and layers of varnish between the colors.
The dark color was done first, then the lighter color. What I learned from this is that it would be better to put the lighter color first. That way I can better define the shapes of the rocks and valleys.

Ze względu na to, ile czasu zajęła mi obróbka ostatniego nagrania, cykl z historią sztuki w komiksie poszedł na chwilę w odstawkę. Ale że długo nie potrafię bez niego wytrzymać...

To pierwszy raz, gdy w cyklu pojawia się Maxfield Parrish, co mnie nieco dziwi, bo przypuszczałbym, że nawiązania do niego będą w amerykańskim komiksie pojawiać się często, zwłaszcza w szeroko rozumianej fantastyce. Muszę tę kwestię zbadać.
