El titular de Softzone puede parecer algo exagerado, pero Markdown es un lenguaje que nos permite dar formato en la web de forma extremadamente sencilla, sacándole todo el partido con apenas un adecena de símbolos. Un punto intermedio entre hacerlo todo con botones en la interfaz y hacerlo todo mediante código HTML. Y lo mejor es que, en la mayoría de sitios donde podemos usarlo también se puede complementar con HTML, así que uno no se siente limitado.
Personalmente nunca he sido muy fan porque me parecía redundante aprender algo que ya cubría el HTML. Sin embargo, usarlo para El cuaderno y comentarlo en cursos de creación de webs y blogs me ha hecho ver su belleza y entender claramente dónde estaba su potencial. Además existen miles de recursos como tutoriales, chuletas y hasta editores web WYSIWYG que te lo ponen todo aún más fácil.
